I am a deep-vision scientist, mainly doing research at the intersection of deep learning, computer vision with astronomy, cosmology.

Right now I am based at the University of Washington, acting as the AI lead of the LSST project, implementing AI-based transient hunting algorithms for Rubin. Before, I have been a data scientist at the European Southern Observatory (ESO), as well as a doctoral researcher at University of Freibug in Germany. I did my Bachelor’s and Master’s in Electrical Engineering at the Amirkabir University of Tehran, Iran, where I was born.
